Frequently Asked Questions

Are the objects on offer guaranteed to be genuine?

Yes. We have been active in the international art trade for over 40 years and stand for in-depth expertise and careful examination of all objects. Every piece in our collection is checked for provenance, authenticity and condition before it goes on sale. Upon purchase, you will receive a certificate confirming the authenticity and legal origin of the object.

Are all objects legally imported and tradable?

Yes, all art objects on neiriz-collection.com were of course legally acquired and comply with the applicable import and trade regulations. Most of the pieces come from renowned auction houses and private collections in Germany and Europe. A certificate of authenticity, which also confirms legality, is included with every purchase.

Is it possible for someone to claim ownership of an object?

No. All works of art and collector's items on offer were acquired legally and are free from third-party claims. The resale complies with the legal requirements. With the certificate you receive upon purchase, we guarantee both the authenticity and the legal harmlessness of the object.

Do cracks or damage affect the value of an object?

Yes, visible damage such as cracks, breakages or missing parts can reduce the market value of an object - especially if they have occurred subsequently due to improper storage or transportation. However, many antique objects have already been found damaged, and these traces are part of their history. In some cases, they even enhance the authenticity and appeal of a piece. Museums and important collections often deliberately leave restorations visible so as not to falsify the historical integrity. We also look at each object holistically - with respect for its originality and patina.

How is the condition of the objects assessed?

Our aim is to provide collectors, museums and enthusiasts with a sound basis for an informed purchase decision. Each object has been expertly appraised by us and its original condition.
