Glazed ceramic bowl – China, Song dynasty, 10th–13th century

This remarkable bowl has two beautifully placed watermarks and a glowing lavender Jun glaze, finely spotted throughout and showing its shard through translucence around the opening. Uniform crackle inside and out.
