The five-clawed dragon stands like a handstand with a sweeping, curved neck and relatively straight hind body with its two powerful front legs on the dragon-headed turtle with the tail of a lion.
From the nape of the neck to the base of the tail, the dorsal line is accentuated by a path of increasingly large curved spikes, accentuated in two places by small flame swirls. The open mouth reveals a long, curved tongue.
