Timeless Expressions of Persian Civilizations – A Curated Collection of Ancient Art and Artifacts
Discover the enduring legacy of Persian art through a refined selection of authentic antiquities—ranging from early ceramics of Sialk and Bactria, to powerful bronzes from Luristan, luminous Kashan pottery, elegant Samanid ceramics, and finely detailed miniature prints inspired by Safavid and Qajar aesthetics. Each object embodies centuries of cultural continuity, artistic innovation, and spiritual symbolism.
The civilizations of the Iranian plateau—spanning millennia from Elamite, Amlash, and Bactrian cultures to the Achaemenid, Sasanian, and later Islamic dynasties—produced an artistic heritage of remarkable complexity and sophistication. Our collection includes hand-built terracotta rhyta from the Amlash region (13th–10th century BCE), ceremonial vessels from ancient Bactria, and minimalist forms from proto-urban Sialk, dating back over 5,000 years.
Luristan bronzes, known for their symbolic geometry and ritual function, reveal the metallurgical mastery of Iron Age craftsmen. Standards, weapons, and equestrian ornaments reflect cosmological beliefs, ancestral veneration, and social hierarchies deeply embedded in local traditions.
From later periods, we present intricately glazed ceramics from Kashan workshops—pieces that demonstrate technical refinement and a poetic visual language—as well as Samanid vessels bearing stylized calligraphy, a synthesis of abstract form and sacred text. These artworks reflect a worldview where craft, meaning, and metaphysics converge.
The collection also features Persian miniature prints—high-quality lithographic impressions echoing the visual language of manuscript painting. Originating in Safavid and Qajar ateliers, these works encapsulate the elegance of courtly life, poetic storytelling, and visual symbolism that shaped the Persian arts of the book.
This curated offering is intended for collectors, curators, and connoisseurs with a deep appreciation for Persian cultural heritage. Every object is selected not only for its historical authenticity but for its power to evoke the enduring aesthetic and philosophical values of Persian civilizations.
