A Collection Across Civilizations

The Neiriz Collection reflects a profound engagement not exclusively with the arts of Asia, but with almost all great cultures of antiquity. Each object in the collection is 100% authentic and selected with curatorial care, historical understanding, and an unerring eye for quality.

Many pieces are museum-grade, rare artifacts known from international auctions or comparable to those held in public collections. Not only are the objects of this collection rare and valuable, they are lasting works of art: bearers of meaning, memory, and material excellence – and besides that also extremely decorative.

To collect ancient art is to hold a piece of humanity’s shared past. These works offer visual beauty and they connect us with the origins of belief, power, and artistic expression. They endure because they are timeless, and because they remind us of who we are and where we come from.

Our large and diverse collection of Chinese art spans millennia—from Neolithic bowls and Tang dynasty sancai figures, Song celadon ware, and Northern Qi Buddhist sculptures to refined bronze objects from the 18th century to 19th century porcelain collectibles. These objects illustrate dynastic patronage, metaphysical symbolism, and technical brilliance.

The collection of Persian art brings together terracotta ritual vessels from Amlash, calligraphic ceramics from Nishapur, figural lustreware from Kashan, and rare Persian miniatures from the Safavid and Qajar periods. These works highlight Persia’s deep artistic tradition—where poetry, symbolism, and innovation converge.

The Indian art collection features Gandharan stone steles, Bodhisattva sculptures, Indus Valley terracottas, and Deccan miniature paintings. It reflects India’s layered spiritual heritage and the fusion of visual cultures across Buddhist, Hindu, and regional traditions.

The Greek and Roman collection presents marble busts, sculptural fragments, and fine ceramics that embody the foundations of classical art. Mythological imagery, refined proportions, and technical mastery reveal how these cultures shaped the visual vocabulary of the West.

We are proud to showcase a variety of fascinating original ukiyo-e woodblock prints by Hokusai, Hiroshige, Utamaro, and Kunisada in our collection of Japanese art. These scenes of fleeting beauty—actors, landscapes, and daily life—capture the refined spirit of Edo-period Japan.

The collection of Southeast Asian art includes Khmer stone carvings and bronze Buddhas from Thailand. Their sacred imagery and sculptural harmony express Theravāda Buddhist ideals and temple aesthetics from Angkor to Ayutthaya.

Authentic Islamic Samanid ceramics from Nishapur and Kashan, Ilkhanid ceremics, beautifully decorated lusterware with calligraphy alongside Seljuk bronzes of exceptional craftsmanship and glass objects are parts of our collection of Islamic art.

The Anatolian collection contains early Bronze Age vessels and carved stone forms from ancient Anatolia.
